Born in Pacoima California, Coach James attended Chatsworth High School where he played three years of Varsity Football. He ended his high school career with 3,488 all-purpose yards and 43 touchdowns. After high school, he attended Los Angeles Valley College where he was First Team All-Conference selection in 2008 as a sophomore, rushing for 899 yards on 174 carries with seven touchdowns. He also ran for 516 yards on 126 carries with four touchdowns in 2007 as a freshman.
Following LA Valley, Walker played two years at Fort Hays State University earning All-MIAA Honors at Running Back - posting 2,566 all-purpose yards and 24 touchdowns.
Following FHSU, he played three years of indoor football: two seasons with the Kansas Koyotes of the CPIFL and one season with the Green Bay Blizzard of the IFL.
Coach James worked as a assistant for Chatsworth High School for one season and served as Running Backs coach for Thomas More Prep High School in Hays KS.

Many life lessons are taught by this beautiful game and I am excited to continue my football life coaching and teaching this game to these highly talented and intelligent women as well as helping them be the best athletes that they can be.”
Outside of football, Walker works as a personal trainer with an end goal of of launching his own business training and developing elite athletes.
